General Admission Requirements

Explore admission requirements for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degree programs.

Bachelor's Degree Programs

To be eligible for admission to a bachelor's degree program, applicants must:

  • Hold a high school certificate from the Thai, American, British, or another recognized educational system.
  • Fulfill any additional entry requirements specified by the respective faculty or program.
Master's Degree Programs

To be eligible for admission to a master's degree program, applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree, equivalent qualification, or graduate diploma from an accredited educational institution in Thailand or abroad.
  • Be in good health without any illness, condition, or disability that may hinder academic progress.
  • Fulfill any additional entry requirements specified by the respective faculty or program.
Additional Requirement for Engineering Programs:
Applicants must also meet the English proficiency test requirements (Click here).

For those who do not yet have a standard English proficiency test score/certificate, they may still apply and choose one of the following options:

  • Complete the English Preparation for Graduate Studies course; or
  • Submit an approved English proficiency test score within the first semester of the academic year.
Doctoral Degree Programs

To be eligible for admission to a doctoral degree program, applicants must:

  • Hold a master’s degree, equivalent qualification, or an advanced graduate diploma from an accredited educational institution in Thailand or abroad.
  • Be in good health without any illness, condition, or disability that may hinder academic progress.
  • Fulfill any additional entry requirements specified by the respective faculty or program.
  • Achieve the minimum required score in at least one recognized English proficiency test.

Important: Official English proficiency test scores are valid only if taken not more than 2 (two) years of the application deadline.

Applicants who do not meet the prescribed minimum scores may still apply under one of the following options:

  • Complete the English Preparation for Graduate Studies course; or
  • Submit an approved English proficiency test score within the first semester of the academic year.

Applicants who do not yet have a standardized English proficiency test certificate may apply; however, the certificate must be submitted no later than the date of new UBU student registration.
